COMMITTEE ON BILLS ON SECOND READING

June 2, 2026 at 6:30 PM

Chairman Trisciani called the meeting to order.

The Clerk called the roll.

Present: Aldermen Trisciani, Terrio, Fajardo, Kantor, Dexter

  1. Ordinance Amendments:

"Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Manchester by amending §32.029 Funding and Resource Management pertaining to the Art Commission by increasing spending authorization without board approval to $1,000 per project."

On motion of Alderman Terrio, duly seconded by Alderman Fajardo, it was voted that the Ordinance Amendments ought to pass and be referred to the Committee on Accounts, Enrollment & Revenue Administration.

"Amending Section 33.081 Sick Leave (D) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Manchester to change the terms of sick leave use."

Matthew Normand, City Clerk: The Interim HR Director has requested that this Ordinance Amendment be tabled to allow the department to work on the item.

On motion of Alderman Terrio, duly seconded by Alderman Dexter, it was voted to table.

There being no further business, on motion of Alderman Fajardo, duly seconded by Alderman Kantor, it was voted to adjourn.
